Hello, I’m Robbie, a music producer, artist and DJ based in London and Margate, UK, working mainly out of my lovely Ochre Lodge Studio, which is also available as a writing/production space for hire.
Composer
My work as a composer has been exhibited on a variety of platforms, from soundtracking psychedelic therapy trials carried out by Beckley Psytech, to large catalogues on music libraries Audio Network and Fold Music and bespoke work such as this ad for Rizla.
I am always looking to expand my composition portfolio, so please get in touch if you want to work together on something.
Artist / Producer
I am the founder, producer and musical director of United Freedom Collective, a project which I started as a vehicle for collaboration, with an eclectic array of releases with artists such as Jordan Stephens, FaceSoul, Falle Nioke, Joshua Idehen, Labdi, Mantawoman and many more, releasing music on Ninja Tune, Dama Dama and Multi Culti labels. Live highlights include supporting Maribou State at Alexandra Palace in 2025 and a sold-out headline show at Dalston Curve Garden in 2024. We’ve had radio support from Lauren Laverne, Craig Charles, Don Letts and Gilles Peterson, who described United Freedom Collective as ‘Margate’s Finest’.
Our latest release was a brilliant remix by Photay which has been doing the rounds in radio and club booths worldwide since it came out.
Podcast Producer
I am an experienced podcast producer (and sometime host on the United Freedom Collective Podcast), recently working as editor and producer on the Onaya Podcast, with other work in the pipeline.
DJ
I love doing radio and have fronted shows on on NTS, Worldwide FM, Margate Radio, Netil Radio and OpenLab. And have various mixes online such as this Crack Magazine Sunday Mix.
I have DJ’d at festivals such as We Out Here, Lost Village, Lido, Wilderness, Smugglers and run a bi-monthly party at Margate Arts Club called United Friendship Disco. My DJ sets have been described by Clash Magazine as an ‘aural mosaic that glitters with colour and potential’.
Again, please get in touch with any queries.
